We’re excited to announce that Land Elsewhere will be documenting behind the scenes action on G.I. Joe: Retaliation – the latest installment in Paramount Pictures’ global adventure franchise.  Directed by Jon M. Chu, the film will bring the epic struggle between G.I. Joe and the evil forces of Cobra to theaters around the world on June 29, 2012.  Our documentary team will capture principal photography in New Orleans, with our work providing an in-depth look at the making of the film for both DVD and promotional features.  This marks the continuation of our relationship with Chu, Paramount and the G.I. Joe franchise – after covering post-production on The Rise Of Cobra, we’re excited about the opportunity to chronicle the sequel from beginning to end.  Yo Joe!

The third season of The LXD has just gone live on Hulu, bringing with it a new series of documentaries, trailers and featurettes we created for the show.  Going behind the camera – and the dance moves – of one of the most ambitious online series ever produced, we take an in-depth look at the incredible team that works together to create this groundbreaking adventure in storytelling.  We were also excited to create a three-part documentary, The Mythology Of The LXD, which tracks the show’s story from the dusty grounds of an depression-era circus to the battleground of the future.  A new piece will premiere every week this summer, joining together to create an all-new piece for the third season’s DVD release.

Land Elsewhere has inked a deal with Paramount Digital to generate behind-the-scenes content for THE LXD – The Legion Of Extraordinary Dancers.  Using on-set stills and footage captured by our team during principal photography, we’ll be creating a series of documentaries that takes a look behind the scenes – and the moves – of this revolutionary online adventure.  Fans can look forward to all-new interviews with the dancers, choreographers and creative talent who collaborated to bring the series to life, as well as full HD featurettes that provide an insider’s perspective on one of the most anticipated new series of 2010.  Keep an eye out for our content once LXD launches this summer!

Our behind the scenes documentaries for G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra are now online!  Created for the official homepage of writer/director Stephen Sommers, these behind the scenes documentaries provide an intimate look at the making of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. Land Elsewhere wrote, produced, filmed and edited each installment to coincide with the launch of Stephen’s official site – which we also created and manage – and the film’s release. They represent a close collaboration between Land Elsewhere, Paramount Studios and the creative forces behind the film.  You can check out our Press Tour doc below and the entire collection is available for viewing here.
